IES Coaching was founded by Carla Edite Vieira to provide executives and their organisations with innovative services in strategy and leadership coaching. Her services are a unique blend of strategy consulting and leadership coaching.
Carla Edite Vieira graduated in Business Studies with a BA, MA, MSc and MBA specialising in Marketing, Micro Finance, Health Care Management and Strategy. Carla Edite Vieira's professional experience centres on research, consulting on positioning strategy and business development, product development and value chain optimisation as well as executive coaching. She has experience of the retail and travel industry, banking, education and development management sectors as well as the consulting and coaching industries. She is currently engaged in building up the Strategy Research Forum, a unique on-line platform for strategy research.
Prior to starting her own coaching business she designed the service portfolio for the BC Basel Consulting Group introducing coaching as an additional approach to consulting. Furthermore, she set up Novel Healthcare Strategies International, a group of coaches focussing on the healthcare sector, as well as AvantGarde Coaching Group, focussing on executive coaching services.
Her social engagements include the building up of StratMicrofinance, an organisation in Nepal helping women to build up their own businesses, as well as HECAC, an organisation targeting poverty alleviation and environmental protection.
In addition to her university degrees she is a Certified Professional Coach, having graduated from an ICF accredited program. She is also a certified Business NLP and Hypnotherapy Trainer and holds certifications in Professional Stress Management, Conflict Resolution Management and Mentaltraining. To keep abreast of innovation and provide her clients with top coaching services she is continuously researching and developing new models in strategy and leadership coaching.
Carla Edite Vieira speaks German, English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish fluently and has a basic working knowledge of Japanese, Korean and Chinese. In her spare time she enjoys to read, research and explore, to practice Yoga and Meditation and to write on various subjects. Moreover, as a "globe trotter" with a great interest in Asian culture she co-founded Vision & Tours and Travel.
